Eleven year old William Lee, the author and artist who created this book, lives in Troy, Michigan where he attends Brookfield Academy as a 5th grader. He is a dedicated student, loves to write stories, play golf and the classical cello. William performs regularly with the Oakland Youth Orchestra, and The Detroit Symphony Civic Youth Ensembles.

William was featured in the Detroit Free Press at 3 1/2 years old when he hit a hole in one at the Ryder Cup Challenge during the tournament at Oakland Hills Country Club.

William started his own non-profit 501(c) 3 charity, ‘Music Cares for the Elderly’ where he has performed classical music for area nursing homes throughout Michigan.

In the summer of 2011, William’s writing gifts and abilities were discovered by Author and Publisher, Rod Moon of the Michigan Publishing Company NORDBERG PRESS. Rod Moon quickly recognized William’s story telling abilities and talents and signed him to his first publishing deal.

In the summer of 2010, William Lee was accepted into the Digital Media Program at Harvard University. The following summer in 2011 he attended the Digital Media Program at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. His hobbies include computer programming, playing golf, playing cello, writing fiction and illustration. The Warrior and The Golden Dragon is William Lee’s first published work of fiction.
